A legacy in motion.

Director: Olivera Todorović

MAGDA Collective is an independent interdisciplinary creative platform based in Montenegro, named after Magda — Olivera’s mother and Tijana’s grandmother.

Magda was a remarkable storyteller: she sewed, shared knowledge and brought people together. That same thread runs through our work — carrying women’s heritage and intergenerational knowledge into contemporary forms of creation, collaboration and public engagement.

Mission

MAGDA brings together design, publishing, performing arts, cultural production, education and object development. We develop projects from research and concept through production, realisation and presentation — independently or in collaboration with authors, institutions, organisations and makers.

Vision

We are building MAGDA as an open and sustainable structure connecting heritage with contemporary practice, local experience with international collaboration, and individual authorship with collective work.

Visual identity

FOR NEW STORIES.

MAGDA’s visual identity grows from a hand-drawn woven grid — part textile, part network, part open structure. It connects Magda’s gift for storytelling with the new stories still to be made.
